Sven Law

Sven began their career as a carer in their mid-teens before qualifying as a Social Worker in 2004. Early practice across adult services, including integrated older-adult mental health teams, developed their focus on complex mental health and disability needs. As an agency Social Worker, they worked across CMHT, Learning Disability, and forensic mental health settings, building a psychologically informed approach using solution-focused, person-centred, and CBT-informed techniques.


He later trained as a Psychotherapist, specialising in CBT and expanding into IPT, ACT, CFT, and mindfulness-based approaches. They progressed into clinical leadership and became an accredited supervisor following a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Supervision (2014).

They are an experienced queer-affirming therapist working with the LGBTQ+ community, offering online therapy and providing individual and group-based online supervision to both trainee and qualified therapists.
